Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger have gone down, users around the world and service issue monitor Downdetector reported on Friday. Update: A Facebook spokesperson has emailed India Today Tech a statement about the outage, "We're aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. It looks like Facebook’s messaging services backend is having issues.
